Offshore Red Snapper & Mangrove Snapper
- We meet at our dock early in the morning to load your group along with your food and drinks into our boats, then depart before sunrise.
- We make our way through the marshes of Hopedale in the dark and continue our journey into the Gulf of Mexico. Depending on the time of year and the size snapper you want to catch, the ride to the fishing grounds runs approximately an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and 45 minutes.
- We start off fishing for your red snapper, and once the boat limit is reached we swap gears and target mangrove snapper.
- When the fishing is over we make our journey back to the dock, where your captain will clean and bag your catch for the day. This trip runs approximately 8-10 hours from start to finish.

What You'll Catch
For our offshore enthusiasts, our offshore red snapper trips consist of catching red snapper and mangrove snapper ONLY. These are the two main species of fish targeted on this trip.
We occasionally catch other species of fish including triggerfish, grouper, cobia, and other species of snapper. We will allow you to keep these extra species if caught while snapper fishing if in season, but we will not target these fish on the snapper trip.
If you would like to target more than just snapper, we recommend our deep drop bottom trips.
